Session outline
This session supports learning in Mathematics and Understanding of the world in the EYFS Statutory Framework.
Children practise their counting skills by singing songs relating to objects in the Museum, such as our wonderful moon globe and grandfather clock.
They also become shape explorers, finding 2D and 3D shapes in the galleries, and make simple telescopes, decorated with different shapes, to take home.
The History of Science Museum is one of the oldest public museum buildings in the world (built in 1683!) and a magical setting for exploration and introduction to museums.
